The Naromoru Route is the fastest and most direct path to Point Lenana (4,985m) on Mount Kenya, making it ideal for trekkers with limited time. This 2-day itinerary takes you through lush rain forests, the challenging Vertical Bog, and breathtaking alpine landscapes. The route offers a thrilling adventure with rapid altitude gain, best suited for physically fit hikers with prior high-altitude experience.

Tour Plan
We depart Nairobi at 3:30 a.m, aiming to get to the Mount Kenya Naromoru gate (2,400m) by around 7:00am. We shall then drive 9km into the park to get to Met Camp (3,048m), where we start our hike to Mackinders camp. Our trek takes us 10km to Mackinders Camp (4,300m), where we shall have dinner and dinner.
The normal approach is to start an early morning at 2 am in order to reach point Lenana taking about 4 hr walk by sunrise at 6:20am. After sunrise, descend down to Mackinders Camp for breakfast, 2hrs and walk further 4hrs, way back to Met Station and drive back to Nairobi
