- Transportation: Arrange transportation from Eldoret to the starting point of the hike. The most common starting point is the Chorlim Gate, located approximately 48 kilometers from Eldoret.
- Permits: Obtain the necessary permits for hiking in Mount Elgon National Park. You can acquire these permits at the park entrance gate. Make sure to inquire about any specific requirements or regulations.
- Chorlim Gate to Endebess Bluff: Begin your hike from Chorlim Gate, following the trail towards Endebess Bluff. This section of the hike offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscapes and takes around 3-4 hours to complete, depending on your pace. Explore the Caves.
- Return to Eldoret: Once you reach Chorlim Gate, arrange transportation back to Eldoret.
