Tour Plan

Departure from Nairobi at 7.00, along the way we take a break and eat packed lunch. Arrival at Jans Camp and Loita Hills at 3:00 pm. We get an introduction to the area and what the coming days can look like, and we also take a short trip before dinner and rest in the camp.

Our 6:00am wake up call is followed by a cup of tea/coffee followed by full breakfast. Guided by our Maasai warriors, we hope to experience the thrill of meeting wildlife face to face within their own environment. We will also have a chance to experience the Maasai way of life in the African wilderness. We return to the camp in time for lunch followed by a siesta/read before setting off for our walk. We return to the camp just before dark. The evening is spent over dinner cooked by our expert safari cook under the stars around the campfire. (Fly Camp) (B,L,D)

Continue walking through this unpolluted and natural mountain rain forest sacred to the Loita Maasai people. As we walk along with the warriors, they share their rich history and cultural back grounds with us. (BLD)

After breakfast we walk to Olopule camp for lunch. Afternoon hike up the hills for spectacular views of Mt. Kenya, Kilimanjaro, Nairobi (if it is a clear day) (B,L,D)

A short walk to Morijo where we link up with our vehicle, driving through the Rift Valley floor to be in Nairobi by afternoon. (B,L)
