Arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International airport in Nairobi you will be met by our Representative and briefed concerning your safari and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park.
Arrive for lunch at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp and later followed by an early afternoon relaxation at the Camp.
Later take a game drive at the Lake Nakuru National Park
Lake Nakuru National Park:
On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges.
Lake Nakuru National Park which surrounds the lake has recently been enlarged partly to provide a sanctuary for the black rhino.
The Park is famous for its bird spectacle featuring over a million flamingos, over 400 migratory bird species from around the world and large flotillas of pelicans.
Dinner and overnight at the Camp.
After breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara National Reserve. 1300 hrs – Arrive for check in and lunch at the Mara Sopa Lodge. 1330 hrs – Enjoy your buffet Lunch. 1530hrs - Coffee/tea at the lobby. 1600hrs - Afternoon game drive returning to Lodge for dinner and overnight. Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of zebra, Thomson's gazelle, and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Migration. Return for dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Have an early morning Game drive
•Return to the Lodge for breakfast. •Freshen up and relax at the Lodge or have a mid-morning optional visit to the masai village. •Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool. •More game drives in the late afternoon in search of more animals. •Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Alternative 1：
Morning breakfast and exit the Lodge with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5. You will later return in the evening for dinner and overnight Alternative 2： Morning Balloon ride (Optional at extra the cost of $415pp)in the early morning where you will be picked up from your Lodge and transferred you to the balloon launch site at 05:00 am: 06 Schedules: Balloon Safari in Masai Mara– 1 hour ride. After your incredible flight, it is time to come back down to earth for breakfast. As you dig into a splendid breakfast of sizzling bacon, eggs, sausages, home-made breads, fresh tropical fruit and steaming cups of Kenyan tea under the clear blue sky. After breakfast you receive your Balloon certificate and we drive you back to the Lodge with game viewing Enroute. This is how it goes about. Lunch at the Lodge. Afternoon game drive. Return to the Lodge for dinner and overnight amidst Masai traditional dancers.
Breakfast at the Lodge and then you will drive back to Nairobi and dropped off at the airport.
